Who we are

About Redline Forestry

Redline Forestry is a veteran-owned wildfire mitigation company focused on protecting homes, families, and communities in high fire-risk areas.

With a background in wildland firefighting, we understand how quickly fire can move—and what it takes to slow it down. Our work is built around creating real defensible space, reducing fuel, and preparing properties to stand a better chance during wildfire conditions.

We specialize in weed abatement, brush clearing, ladder fuel reduction, and Zone 0 preparation (0–5 feet around structures).

But we don’t stop at cleanup.

We help homeowners get their properties closer to fire insurance compliance by identifying risks, improving defensible space, and guiding them toward what insurance companies are looking for during inspections.

At Redline Forestry, the goal is simple:

Make your property fire-ready, insurance-ready, and built to last.

What We Do

At Redline Forestry, we provide practical, hands-on services designed for real properties — not just checklists.

Our core services include:

  • Defensible Space Clearing (Zones 0–100 ft)

  • Weed Abatement & Brush Removal

  • Fire Hardening Recommendations

  • Zone 0 Preparation (gravel, clearance, ember-resistant spacing)

  • Property Risk Assessments

  • Hauling & Cleanup

Every job is tailored to your land, your layout, and your level of risk.

Why Redline Is Different

Most companies just cut and leave.

We build properties that are actually fire-ready.

  • We focus on real wildfire behavior, not just appearance

  • We help you understand why the work matters

  • We build long-term protection, not one-time cleanups

  • We operate with a mission-first mindset, not just profit

We bring your property up to current wildfire mitigation standards and fire code requirements, giving you a strong position for insurance compliance.

Built on Experience

Redline Forestry is built on real-world experience in wildland environments, where fire behavior is unpredictable and fast-moving.

That background shapes how we approach every job — focusing on what actually makes a difference when it matters most.

About Our Fire Protection Zones

Zone 0: Immediate Structure Protection (0–5 ft)

This is the most critical area—right up against your home.

We focus on eliminating anything that can ignite from embers, which are the #1 cause of homes lost in wildfires.

Includes:

  • Removal of all flammable materials (mulch, plants, debris)

  • Installation of non-combustible materials (gravel, stone)

  • Clearing under decks, eaves, and vents

  • Creating a clean, ignition-resistant perimeter

👉 This zone is essential for passing inspections and preventing direct ignition.

Zone 1: Reduced Fuel Zone

(5–30 ft)

This zone slows fire down and reduces heat before it reaches your home.

We create spacing and remove excess fuel so flames can’t easily spread or intensify.

Includes:

  • Thinning vegetation and reducing fuel load

  • Removing dead plants, brush, and debris

  • Spacing trees and shrubs properly

  • Trimming branches away from roofs and structures

  • Eliminating ladder fuels (vertical fire paths)

👉 This zone is critical for lowering fire intensity and protecting your home’s exterior.

Zone 2: Extended Defense Zone (30–100+ ft)

This outer zone helps slow the fire before it even gets close.

We focus on large-scale fuel reduction and strategic clearing to disrupt fire movement across your property.

Includes:

  • Selective thinning of trees and brush

  • Removal of heavy fuel concentrations

  • Creating fuel breaks and access paths

  • Managing slope and terrain risks

👉 This zone provides large-scale protection and gives firefighters a safer environment to defend your property.
